Egypt is one of the places where Islam predominates and Christians are more tolerated. Apart from very small communities of Catholics and Protestants, there is a considerable community of Coptic Christians surviving through 13 centuries of islamic ruleNevertheless, many have lost everything — their homes, their possessions and sometimes even their loved ones — because they chose to follow Christ.
