Lagos, July 16.– A Nigerian cleric and spokesman of the Sharibu family has reacted to rumors that Leah Sharibu, the Christian schoolgirl held captive by Boko Haram for refusing to convert to Islam, had given birth to a baby boy fathered by a Boko Haram commander and had subsequently converted to Islam.
Rev. Gideon Para-Mallam, speaking with Aid to the Church in Need, said these must be false claims or a situation of rape and forced conversion.
La Habana, Junio 30.– El régimen de La Habana, a través de su Policía Política, arrestó hoy o les impidió salir de sus domicilios a diez periodistas en La Habana.
La agresión estuvo vinculada a una marcha pacífica convocada por integrantes de la sociedad civil en protesta por la muerte a manos de la policía de un joven de 27 años, Hansel Ernesto Hernández, el día 26 último, en el municipio Guanabacoa.
