Retired State Senator in New Battle Against US Domestic Communism

Written by The Epoch Times on 29 September 2021. Posted in Headlines.

Richard Hayden Black says communism is spreading at a 'breakneck pace,' seizing power by creating divisions.

We are in a situation today where the communists back when I was in college realized that the fissure in American society was a racial one. And they’ve worked very hard to exploit that. And at the same time, they recognize that to collapse society and bring about a communist revolution, they have to also take out all of the moral underpinnings of society. And this is what we see being done".– said former Senator Richard Hayden Black.

Richard Hayden Black Sept. 21.– A Vietnam War veteran and former Virginia state senator is at the center of a new battle: pushing back on domestic communism in the United States.

After 16 years in the Virginia House of Delegates and Virginia Senate, Sen. Richard Hayden Black withdrew from the office in 2020, but not the community. On June 22, he spoke at a school board meeting in his county of residence, Loudoun County.

The county is west of Washington, D.C., where liberal-leaning northern Virginia and the more conservative parts of the state meet. It has become ground zero for the fight against critical race theory (CRT), a variation of Marxism that interprets society through the lens of racial class struggle and sees inherent racism in the foundations of Western societies.

Two top US generals say they advised keeping troops in Afghanistan, contradicting Pres. Biden

Written by Yahoo News on 29 September 2021. Posted in Headlines.

Sworn testimony before the Senate forced them to "tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" about the consequences of an accelerated withdrawal of all US troops. Gen. Frank McKenzie

Washington DC, Sept.28.– Top generals told lawmakers Tuesday that they previously recommended keeping around 2,500 U.S. troops on the ground in Afghanistan, contradicting earlier statements by President Biden that no one had advised him against a complete withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country last month.

In sworn testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen. Frank McKenzie, the head of U.S. Central Command, and Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, both said they assessed as early as last fall that an accelerated withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Afghanistan would likely cause the Western-backed Afghan government and military to collapse.Gen. Beijing, Sept.16.– China on Thursday expressed outrage at a new security pact between Australia, the U.K. and the U.S., blasting what it considers a new Western provocation and singling out Australian troops as the first to die as a result of "Beijing's countermeasures so as to send a warning to others."

"Australia has turned itself into an adversary of China," China's English-language Global Times, considered a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party, proclaimed in an editorial Thursday morning.
