The Forum is divided into several specific areas, so each classification should be respected and users should write where applicable only. The Forum is bilingual and we welcome contributions in English and Spanish.
It is not acceptable to start another entry with a different title on the same topic or issue whose discussion has not yet been closed, or to publish two or more comments with similar messages using different topics.
Entries should be written correctly and strive to express ideas clearly following your personal style while being respectful of the opinions of others. While Forum users have different ways of thinking, experience and skill levels, it is essential to respect the opinions expressed by others, even if we do not totally or partially agree with their opinions.
It is not acceptable the use of offensive or immoral language, discrimination or defamation of any kind nor content that is not veridical or its accuracy and legality cannot be tested.
The placement of advertising for promotional or clearly commercial purposes is not allowed. Violations of these rules will result first in a warning by the moderator or forum administrator, followed by the permanent blocking of the account if the user persists.
Participatory Democracy reserves the right to move, delete, edit or close topics or messages that violate the rules established. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt the individual from complying.

Note: Section 230 of the US Communications Decency Act, allows to delete offensive texts and/or pornographic images. The First Amendment of the US Constitution generally protects websites’ right to avoid hosting speech, images or text they don’t like; barring special cases, like an antitrust allegations.
