If your little son or daughter ever wanted to have a lemonade stand on a hot summer day and borrowed money from Mom and Dad to buy the ingredients, the money they borrowed is called capital. After selling their lemonade all day, he or she "close up shop" and come in for dinner. They count the money they made. They pay their parents money back and the money left over is called profit and belongs to them.
They worked hard all day selling, refilling and selling more. At the end of a long work day, they clean up, put things away, pay their debt to their parents for the capital they borrowwed, and put their profit in their wallet, piggy bank, or a savings account they opened at a local bank. That, ladies and gentlemen, is capitalism.
Many moms and dads borrow from a bank, start a business, sell their products, pay off their loans, and live on their profit. Small businesses have typically provided 80% of the jobs in America.
Capitalism is not a dirty word! And neither is the word profit! It has been the lifeblood of America and has lifter more people out of poverty than any other economic system in the world. And becaus of our Judeo-Christian values, it has made Americans not only the most prosperous people in the world, but also the most generous people in the world.
Do not elect communists to positions of power. They want to take all of this away. Socialism is the equal distribution of poverty, and communism, the extreme form of socialism, also takes all of your freedom away.
This November 2026, save America and get out and vote for freedom-loving patriotic Americans!
