OF INTEREST By choosing the Right at the elections on 17 September, the Swedish people put an end to the longest reign ever of a Social Democrat Party in Europe (12 years). It is also very significant that this victory by the Opposition comes at a time when the country is enjoying a period of sustainted economic growth. Lastly, in a few days' time, the leader of the Moderate Party, Frederik Reinfeldt (41), will become the youngest PM Sweden has ever had.
